Will

Best known as SimplisticPhobia is the creator and CEO of Project Rough Cuts. Will is a digital artist with a focus in photography and video resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. He’s always enjoyed being behind the camera and capturing people in candid moments. Developing and creating ideas from the people around him and music he creates visual concepts that keep viewers engaged. Will has displayed work in various shows as well as put together showcases for various artist throughout Charlotte and Atlanta, GA and is preparing to start his digital arts camp this summer.

Carey J. King

Carey J. King is a visual story teller based in Charlotte, NC and NYC. Currently, he is the house photographer for Magnolia Emporium as well as the Official Photographer for The Gold District of Historic SouthEnd. After the death of his grandfather, Carey's perspective of life around him changed. The little moments and details that he'd previously overlooked were now ever present in his day to day life. Daremen Jones

DaRemen J. 23, Born and raised in Charlotte NC. As a child I’ve always had a wild imagination. Making up short stories and watching old films is where I feel began to realize my love for creating. I started getting into photography seriously while taking a class in film school. I grasped the idea of playing with light fairly quickly and continue challenge myself with more ways to create.

 

Dammit Wesley

Dammit Wesley  is a creative community influencer, a trained multi-disciplinary artist, and an experienced educator. He has played an active role in the Charlotte arts community since 2013, beginning with curating monthly pop-up exhibitions highlighting local emerging artists. As an artist, Wesley holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts & Graphic Design from Winthrop University. His work provides context, insight and commentary on the Black experience, specifically through the lens of the media and popular culture. As an educator, he teaches classes that juxtapose hip-hop culture with traditional painting techniques and figure drawing classes that celebrate the black body.
